Conservation Candles are handcrafted using local materials. Their primary ingredient is natural beeswax, created by wild African bees in the acacia woodlands and forests of Tanzania, East Africa. Additionally, they contain sustainable coconut oil, harvested in local communities surrounding these forests. The candles are blended by locals in those same communities before being scented with natural fragrances and molded in recycled glass jars. By employing these locals, TTC gives them the opportunity to make an income and support their family, which they otherwise may have not had.
